A daily gel cleanser with vitamin C, niacinamide and aloe vera, 100ml. Made for normal to dry and dull-looking skin, where a stronger acne cleanser would be too much.
Made at our own facility on Adiyala Road, Rawalpindi, where we have been formulating since 1998.
What is in it, and what each one does
-
Vitamin C — an antioxidant that also slows pigment production.
-
Niacinamide — supports the skin barrier and helps with uneven tone. Well tolerated by almost everyone.
-
Aloe vera — soothing and hydrating, which offsets the drying effect of washing.
An honest note about actives in a cleanser
A face wash is on your skin for under a minute and then goes down the drain. That limits how much any active ingredient can do, and anyone claiming a cleanser will transform your pigmentation is overstating it.
What a good cleanser does is remove the day without stripping the barrier, and leave the skin in a decent state for whatever you apply next. That is a real job, and it is the one this does. If you want vitamin C to work on pigmentation, it needs to be in a leave-on product — a serum.
How to use it
- Wet the face with lukewarm water, not hot.
- Massage a small amount in, then rinse thoroughly.
- Pat dry rather than rubbing.
- Follow with moisturiser, and sunscreen in the morning.
- Morning and evening, or once a day if your skin is dry.
Which of our cleansers is right for you
-
This one if your skin is normal, dry or looking dull, and comfort matters.
-
Clear Acne Face Wash if your skin is oily and congested, where 2% salicylic acid is the better choice.
Our note on the correct order to apply skincare covers where cleansing sits, and niacinamide versus vitamin C explains the two actives in more depth.
